Ice Cream Returns
to Tower Grove South

Now, just in time for summer, the southwest corner of Arsenal and South Grand is home to Tower Grove Creamery. That’s good news, given the building’s prime location near Tower Grove Park.  Store owners Dave and Beulah Ann McCreery are keeping things simple by serving hot dogs, cake, cookies and, of course, ice cream. The other good news is that the ice cream is from Central Dairy, the Jefferson City institution known for fresh, creamy favorites like Black Walnut, Moose Tracks, Strawberry Cheesecake and Burgundy Cherry. We haven’t had Central Dairy ice cream since the Maplewood Café closed.
